General Info

Kenichi Snowmass sits in Snowmass Village at 110 Carriage Way Apt 3101, CO 81615, United States, offering a Japanese dining experience that feels both refined and relaxed. It’s the kind of place where the menu is straightforward but thoughtfully curated, focusing on quality ingredients and clean presentation rather than overwhelming variety. From the moment guests step inside, the atmosphere leans into a calm, modern setting that works well for both casual meals and more private occasions.

At the center of the menu is the sushi selection, which remains a consistent favorite for visitors looking for freshness and balance. The rice, fish, and garnishes are prepared with attention to detail, and the sushi plates often arrive with a clean, minimalist presentation that reflects traditional Japanese style. Alongside this, tobiko flying fish roe adds a pop of texture and flavor, giving each bite a subtle briny finish that pairs well with the lighter cuts of fish.

One of the standout items that tends to draw attention is the wagyu tataki. Lightly seared and sliced, it offers a tender texture that contrasts beautifully with its delicate seasoning. It’s the type of dish that feels indulgent without being heavy, making it a popular choice for those exploring the menu more deeply. To complement these plates, a warm bowl of miso soup is often served, bringing a comforting and familiar element to the dining experience.

Beverage options include sake, which fits naturally into the overall Japanese dining style here. Whether enjoyed alongside sushi or shared during a relaxed evening, it adds a traditional touch that enhances the overall menu experience without overpowering the food.

In terms of services, Kenichi Snowmass provides dine-in seating in a comfortable environment, along with a private dining room that works well for groups or more intimate gatherings. Accessibility and convenience are also considered, with a wheelchair accessible parking lot, free parking lot, and general parking options available, making arrival and departure smooth for most guests.

Overall, the restaurant setup supports a flexible dining experience, whether someone is stopping in after exploring Snowmass Village or planning a more structured evening around the menu and location. The combination of sushi, wagyu tataki, miso soup, tobiko flying fish roe, and sake keeps the culinary focus clear and consistent, while the setting reinforces a calm and welcoming Japanese restaurant experience.

What customers say?

“ Great place for a casual dinner or date night…the food is amazing, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is pleasant. One drawback is the overall restaurant space is tiny making the environment seem super tight, especially when dining at the sushi bar. Our waiter and the sushi chefs were very friendly and polite. The quality of the food is top notch. We will definitely return again. ”

“ Hidden gem in Snowmass — don’t trust the low stars Honestly I’m confused why this place has such low ratings, because the sushi here was really good. I have pretty high standards when it comes to sushi (I eat it often and I’m picky about freshness and quality), and everything we ordered was impressive. The uni was incredibly fresh and creamy with that clean ocean flavor (no weird aftertaste at all), and the o-toro was unreal — buttery, rich, and melted instantly. The rest of the rolls and nigiri were also on point. Great fish quality, good rice texture, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Service was solid and the overall vibe was exactly what you’d want after a day on the mountain. If you’re in Snowmass and craving sushi, don’t overthink it — this place is absolutely worth it. ”

“ Some of the best sushi I've had in Colorado. They really care about the ingredients and it is very fresh from sushi to seared tuna to miso soup. We loved it so much. Our server was amazing and helpful. We will definitely be back!!! ”
